tracing a png file to add cut lines

An example of what it looks like when you are tracing an image in Silhouette Studio. The colored part of the design is covered in yellow indicating where the cut lines will be added.

Tracing a design is necessary in Silhouette Studio to add cut lines to a file type that doesn’t have them such as png, jpg, bmp, and tif files. Vector files like dxf and svg don’t need to be traced.
